DIY Friendship Bracelet

The friendship bracelet craze is back in high demand this season. I was lucky enough to pick up some beautiful hand made Thai style bracelets on a recent trip to Thailand, which I love! However since being back I've felt its finally time dig out my DIY skills! Thanks to Honestly WTF who have a great DIY section which helped me brush up on my skills!

Materials:
**Scissors
**Measuring Tape
**Sticky Tape
**Tapestry Cotton (cut each colour twice 77cm long)

1. Choose your colours & design. (Tip: take a photo for easy reference)
2. Tie a knot at one end.
3. Braid 6cm & tie another knot.
4. Separate threads into order of design.
5. Start with the colour that is on the outer left and side. Tie a forward knot. Pull Tight. Knot twice on each colour thread. Continue until the outer colour is now in the middle.
6. Begin from the right hand side. Tie a backwards knot. Pull Tight. Knot twice on each colour thread. Continue until the outer colour is now in the middle.
7. Tie one backwards knot with the 2 colours which are now in the middle.
8. Start back at step 1. (Tip: make sure you have easy access to your photo reference, as the first few rows it will be hard to see which colour is next. After a few rows are done it will be more defined and easier to follow.)
9. continue pattern for 11.5cm (or as desired.)
10. Knot, braid, know to finish it off!

Give it a go!
